Working Principle: Under the action of a direct current high voltage, the metal discharge wires ionize the gas around their electrodes, charging the surfaces of dust or mist droplets. The charged particles move toward the collection electrode under the influence of the electric field and deposit on it. Water flows down from the top of the collection plate, forming a uniform and stable water film that carries away the particles on the plate. Gas containing dust and particulate matter enters the wet electrostatic precipitator through the inlet under the suction of the fan. Under high-voltage electrostatic adsorption, a large amount of dust is adsorbed onto the inner surface of the tubes. The nozzles of the spray system spray water mist from top to bottom, which enhances dust charging, adsorbs dust, and flushes the inner surface of the tubes to ensure better adsorption. After the dust is washed down by electrostatic and spray actions, it enters the sewage filtration tank, where dust and fine particles are removed through filtration. The filtered water can be recycled in the spray system.

Structural Forms:
1. Uses corrosion-resistant conductive materials (such as non-metallic materials with excellent conductivity or metallic materials with corrosion-resistant properties) as the collection electrode;
2. Uses non-conductive non-metallic materials that form a conductive water film through water spraying or overflow as the collection electrode. Based on the direction of the waste gas flow, it can be divided into cross-flow (horizontal) and vertical-flow (vertical) types. The cross-flow type is mostly plate-structured, with gas flowing horizontally in and out. The vertical-flow type is mostly tube-structured, with gas flowing vertically in and out. For the same cross-sectional area of ventilation, the efficiency of the vertical-flow wet electrostatic precipitator is typically twice that of the cross-flow type.
